Our Story

Seifert Rod Company was born out of a love for fishing and a commitment to providing anglers with high-quality, custom fishing gear that gets the job done.

When COVID shut things down in the spring of 2020, Ben Seifert (13 at the time) said, “Dad, let’s try making our own fishing lures” After successfully catching fish on his DIY lures, Ben knew the next step was fishing rods, and a new passion was born.

Ben began making custom rods not only for himself, but for his friends, his parents’ friends, and even donated some to auctions and raffles for various charitable causes. After visiting with others in the fishing industry, he knew it was time for the next step, and Seifert Rod Co. was launched 2025.
